Finally, a wide leg that just falls.

A heavy, soft weave that drops straight from the waist instead of clinging, so the whole leg moves as one piece when you walk. The waistband sits flat and wide across the top, with the gathering starting just below it rather than at the waist edge.

The details

• Flat wide elastic waistband, smooth the whole way round with no twisting or rolling
• Fine even gathering beginning at the lower edge of the waistband, not at the waist itself
• One inward-facing pleat each side at the front, releasing about a palm's length down
• Slanted side pockets set into the seam, sitting about a palm below the waistband
• Plain cut hem — no cuff, no rib, no drawstring; the fabric breaks once or twice over the foot
