Which pieces do the smoothing?
The sculpting line: the tops, bodysuits, slip dresses, the slip skirt and the nine sculpting dresses. They are high-stretch knits that hold through the middle while you wear them. The corset tops, the pencil skirt, the trousers, the flare legging, the tights and the cardigan are what you wear over or with them — they are cut and sized on their own, and each product page says so.
Will it roll down?
The sculpting pieces finish in a wide flat band rather than a separate waistband, so there is nothing to fold over when you sit. The trousers and the flare legging have a flat elastic waistband; the pencil skirt a straight woven one.
How strong is the compression?
Firm enough to smooth and hold through the middle, not so firm that you can't eat dinner in it. Take your usual for the closest fit, size up for more ease. The corset tops are different: they are boned, sized by waist, and the maker suggests the smaller size when you are between two.
What if I'm between sizes?
For the sculpting line, size up — you keep the smoothing and lose the squeeze. For the corset tops, take the smaller one for a firmer fit. And if it's still wrong, your first size exchange is free.
Do I wear anything under it?
Not under the sculpting dresses and bodysuits — they replace the separate shapewear layer entirely. The corset tops are made to go over a top or a dress, and the pencil skirt pairs with the slip skirt underneath (that's what The Skirt Set is).
Will it show under clothes?
The sculpting pieces are a smooth fine knit with no visible side seams, so there is no ridge to read through a thin layer. Under light colors, pick the shade closest to your skin; under everything else, black.
Is a corset top comfortable to wear all day?
It is boned, so it holds the waist in a way a knit does not, and it is meant to be worn over clothes for an evening rather than under them for a workday. If it digs in, go up a size and we'll swap it free.
Is the sculpting line safe to wear all day?
Yes — it is compression knitwear. It should feel like a firm hug, never pins-and-needles. If anything digs in, size up and we'll swap it free.
When will my order arrive?
It ships in 1–2 business days and arrives in 7–14 days, tracked. Ordering for an event? Email us the date first and we'll tell you honestly whether it will make it.
Is there a free wash bag?
Yes — any order of $130 or more in garments includes our linen wash bag. Add it to your cart and it comes to $0 at checkout; if you forget, we put one in the parcel anyway.
How do exchanges work?
Email us within 30 days of delivery and we'll send the right size free — one free size exchange per order. You don't need to ship the original back: we send from Asia, so returning it costs more than it's worth. Keep it, pass it on, or donate it. Need a second exchange? It's $10 for shipping, and you still don't send anything back.
What if I want a refund instead?
Within 30 days of delivery, unworn: full-value store credit, or your original payment method less an $8 processing fee. For the bodysuits, slip dresses and slip skirt, "unworn" means the hygiene liner is still in place; for everything else, tags still attached. Refunds do need the piece sent back to the address we provide, at your own cost — which is why most people take the credit.
How do I wash it?
The sculpting pieces and the tights: machine wash cold in the wash bag, dry flat. The cardigan: cold, in the bag, dry flat, reshape while damp. The pencil skirt: wipe clean, don't machine wash. The corset tops and trousers: follow the label in the garment — we print the care instructions there, not here, until we've washed the first batch ourselves.
