Sheer on the outside. Fleece on the inside.
The black reads as a fine haze over the leg — skin tone shows through it, never a flat opaque black — while the inside is brushed fleece the whole way down. Knitted in one piece rather than layered, so there is no side seam, no back seam and nothing to line up at the ankle.
